Upgrade OS

Ok I just updated my Laptop to Vista which I love but I just downloaded Windows 7. I was just wondering how good W7 is cause I was going to put it on my Dinosaur gaming computer that has XP SP3. The only thing i'm worried about is not being able to play most of my games and I don't have enough ram for that XP mode or whatever its called. So i'm just wondering, is Windows 7 good for a gaming computer?

only thing i can tell you is its a nightmare to install programme's, my consin has it and he nearly throw it out the window when he tryed to install vaule hammer, sorry dont know much else

my sis has it and seems pretty nice! Do u know how to virtual box or dual boot? Cuz then u can try it out! If not GOOGLE! YAY

i have got windows 7 but i dont have much games the only games i play on pc is nzp and wow
but windows 7 is really good!!

just download Linux mint (it what i use)
its better than w7 for the kind of games you games play but it also has a think called a Oracle VM VirtualBox wich you can download for it then you can run a psp within a pc so you can have on that w7/zp/vista
