this is important if you want to compile maps for NZP Demo 1.0.

At first: Dont use the old Valve Tools or the ZHLTools..

Instead download the Vluzacn's ZHLT v33 Compilers and add them to Jackhammer:

This is how you need to add them to your config (yes, my old folders still says zhltools, ignore it):



Heres my compiler setup for "final builds":



$vis_exe is set to -full, for test builds you can also use the option -fast (DONT use it for final builds, only for quick tests)
$_light_exe has -extra which enables smooth lights (also feel free to remove it for quick testbuilds).

But jackhammer doesnt even try to compile it to bsp. it only makes it a map. What the Fuck is going on with jackhammer?

he is using the advanced compile instead of the basic one, so try doing as he says in the tutorial, i did mine differently, it works, but a bit more confusing...

one question, is there any way to make it compile, and bootup the emulator, and the game, AND the map so i don't have to do it all manually, or do I just have to deal with what i got?

So i used the new zhtl tools and I still keep getting the error "Host_Error: Couldnt load half life wad "mywad.wad""

am i compiling it wrong or something wrong with jackhammer.

before you say it, yes i do have -nowadtextures in the csg parameter

well, until you get that working, (the -wadtexture stuff) what you could do is put the .Wad into the NZP folder (GAMES/NZPortable/nzp) and that should load the textures for now

no, my way works 100%... i can compile maps and they run fine on the psp,
and you are just all to stupid to read a FUCKING text and paste it into your stupid configs..
this is the last time im posting a tutorial here..

I'm sorry, when i did it your way, i got the WAD error, but when I did what i do best, (Which is be an asshat, and not follow the directions) i somehow got it to work!

and more tutorials would be nice, i am not sure how to make zambies go to a window, and then bust it, i am also unsure how to make a trigger for doing damage

(walk over something, get a little hurt)

and doors, i know, i am an idiot, but thats what tutorials are for!
