i have a random suggestion for something if you can probably add in a patch. can you make the coding for Character Callouts? for like, when you pick up a Power-Up, or get hit by a zombie, and then you kill it, or after buying a perk?

Already implemented (;
There are only a few things done right now, and they are a bit buggy, but we do have Dempsey's voice playing ever so often.
They are all from WAW...but they will be there in the next patch for now. I will have to see what I decide to release with the patch.

Finally fixed up that shitty PAP texture. Still looks bad...but it will do for now.

Next up is to fix the plus sign from appearing from buying things...never noticed that until now.

Edit: Did it and added some bluelights for PAP:

Some progress on the whole skybox issue...

I took some code from Dquake+ and compared it to NZP. This is the end result:

Cool right? but the problem is this clipping in the corner:

All in all a problem but I won't say to use skyboxes until I find the root cause...so you can use them if you want, but don't complain if they don't work the way you like.

so, i changed the sound for the power ups on NZP unofficial patch. but i found out the the sound plays in one place. i need it to be mono so that the sound works perfectly. is it possible to change the 'PU' sounds from stereo to mono?

Using any audio editing software (Audacity) you can change the channels from stereo to mono.

I was wondering, would you consider having the WaW sound pack from the moddb page compatible with the unofficial patch? It uses its own prog.dat. If not, could you point me the direction for the tools to merge them myself?

Well, I made the executive order that I will be using WAW sounds for most of all functions in the patch. This may change...but it isn't likely that I'll go back on this. NZ:P sounds regularly are garbage...it isn't illegal for me to use them...and I'm the sole contributor.

If this were a standalone mod, like vanilla NZ:P is, then I would not consider it. However, since I decide what's going on, I guess this is it.

As for now, copy ONLY the sound files over. They will work just as well. Some of the files won't play, but the progs.dat is just the vanilla source code added in with a few new sounds.

I've updated Warehouse to have a mini easter egg...nothing special, just something to test out the new things from the patch.

It's pretty easy to tell what the easter egg entails...especially since there are teddy bears showing up places now...

All sounds that are present in the video have not been added outside of the engine

Still looking to remove the intro sound but hey, I'll take it.

Above image shows the grenade animation + the takeout animation. Apparently we were just putting the gun right back into our hands instead of taking it out.

Bottom image shows an addition that I may or may not keep: the button that is assigned to "reload" showing up when your ammo is low I think this looks terrible so we're not keeping it
