Howdy! Some of you know me while other's do not. I haven't been around often enough to really talk with some of you and the people I did talk to were popped over on Mexi's forum for either Revamped and or Augustine. (Other projects as well). I last logged in almost 2 years ago and before that was in 2012. Now, onto the introduction v2!
If you know me, then you know me as simply Mario although some of you call me by other things like Supes or Super, Mario is the usual and I don't really mind what you call me. I'm an Admin of the abandoned desert ghost town of Augustine: Despondent/Augustine Forums/or Revamped if it's been that long. (I was just a simple member and or moderator back when Revamped was a thing.) I've been with the PSP seen for quite a while, longer then most of you know. I first hacked my PSP 1000 with 5.00 M33 back when that was out (2008). That was shortly before my first YouTube channel, Supermario641996. I closed that YouTube channel a few years after I popped out my current YouTube Channel. I was determined back then. I ripped open my battery and used a needle to pop that pin out of place to make it a pandora battery. It took forever to get that battery open safely with the limited resources I had. I then used my mom's laptop to get the files and hacked it successfully. I was 14 back then, I will be 22 this August. A few years after that, I found Solitude and then found Mexi's mod of Solitude for the PSP on YouTube. I think he was on Beta V3 or 4 at the time (I can't remember what he was using for version names.) We chat privately on YouTube for a bit and I got to try some of his stuff early. After that he eventually made a blog and then the Revamped Forums after. Slowly but surely the users came for the halo mod for PSP. I started off as a play tester for Mexi and then he talked to me to help him come up with ideas as well as play test. Soon though, Mexi wanted to try Revamped as a Top-Down shooter. It was ok but it really was a shot in the dark and it didn't come out to well so he dropped that. After that versions were coming out and then eventually Rev 17 was released, the final PSP build. After that the PC port began, the port that became known as Augustine: Despondent. I never found out where Mexi came up with that name but that's because I never asked. Mexi had made me a moderator for the forums a while before this. After that Mexi made me an Admin as a birthday present. That's when Mexi up and left with out a word to only come back with a couple of other projects he released before leaving again. He was going to try to make advertising revenue from the forum but I guess he never figure out how to. After Mexi left, things got pretty quiet till Greezy and Jomart shown up with some Halo 4 builds for I believe Android and PSP. Greezy unfortunately had some private issue and left for a while and I believe Jomart still posts videos of his H4 mods on YouTube but hasn't been on the Forums. After that, it's been pretty quite. I've kept up with that Forum and I still chat with some of the originals on Skype. That's till Meatbox payed a little visit and we chatted for a while, he suggested I pop over here as it's still active around here. Thanks Meatbox
Someday I hope to get into making maps for stuff as I believe that I have the ability to do so. I was working on a Super Mario 64 hack a few years back but had to put it on haitus indefinitely do to unforeseen events.
Currently own:
PSP 1000 Piano Black (The original one I had for years even before I hacked her, falling apart but still turns on and plays games. She gotta be 10 or 11 years old now.)
PSP 2000 Ice Silver (Got her recently to retire my 1000, she came with the rarish expanded battery and a 16GB Memory stick. All real Sony products for $60 from ebay. The only thing she didn't come with is a charger, I have 4 so I didn't care.)
Mexi's more obscure projects that I kinda miss:
http://www.moddb.com/games/nightfall-survival
http://www.moddb.com/games/multicraft/downloads/cool-stuff-mod-08-nether-world-reasons-to-dig
http://augustine.forumotion.com/t578-darkplaces-slender-v1-2 Not as much this one do to the Forum background being Slender's ugly face for so long xP I recently replaced it. That and I wasn't really into a remake of Slender in Darkplaces for the PC.
