Fences Help

So I have this on the new forum but thats down for the moment so could someone who is experienced to mapping(I am sort of good this is my only problem)help me with Transparent
Fence and railing textures.
Even a step by step would help me or maybe a Vid
Because everytime I put the texture on the Model,in between the fences is PINK!!!!

pink works only on psp, pc needs external tga textures with alphachannel.

Alpha Channel isn't my problem
I add alpha channel and when I import it its PINK between the fence
Could someone do a Step by Step tut plz I would really appreciate it

they need EXTERNAL in the textures folder.

I don't understand what you mean by EXTERNALS in the texture folder(and yes I know where the texture folder is)

javiermaki has also posted HOW to use transparent textures in Q1BSP AND HLBSP, and how to use tga textures with alphachannel in the new forum..
