is there a way to change .ff map files into .bsp map files?

this might become confusing but i seen some nz maps for the pc version of w@w downloaded them thinking they might work for nzp but they dont because theyre .ff map files is there a way to change them into .bsp files?

I doubt it. Even if you did manage to do it NZP wouldn't be able to handle it, the textures would most likely be jacked, there would be entities that NZP doesn't know so you would get a bunch of shiny diamonds and you wouldn't have any zombies. Also all other functions of the map would be unusable like the perks, teleportation, etc. It's not worth it unless you're willing to go through the whole map and redo almost everything besides the VERY basic geometry. Even then this is saying that you managed to get it into a format that the quake engine can read.

there is a new area called Applications, where new people post there maps, and admin will see how good it is and choose if it worth have on the site

also note soul is the only admin

Yeah admins right.COD5 Engine is VERY VERY VERY different from DarkPlaces aka graphically enhanced quake.If u wan to do so.U have to modify at least 98 percent of the map.And why do that when u can make it from scratch?I mean 2 percent saved?And by then the map would look crappy.Meh u know wat i mean.

Its not possible, but you can try to rip some textures and convert them to your needs...
Most Soundeffects are stored inside the IWD files as WMX WAV format (needs to be converted)....

Idk how the maps work on WAW but if you want to rip the textures they would have to be external. Unless you just got REALLY close in spectate and took a screenshot lol
