any good desktop recorder

hey , looks like i know everything now with mapping for nzp. but now i want to record my gaming and upload it on youtube. does any1 know a good , free , dektop recorder that doesnt make the game laggy/the quality is high.
i tried fraps(the full version) but the size was WAYYYY to high and it took ages to upload and took way too much space of my hard drive. SO ... any suggestions(im looking for something already tried out) :yay:

i use hypercam 3 and camstudio they lag a little bit. i also hear Action! is pretty good.

I use FRAPS and Bandicam cuz one will lag in a game and the other wont
I can send you them on but be warned cuz its Piracy
FRAPs free gives you 30sec records and a watermark
Bandicam gives you 10 minute records and a watermark and allows you to add a watermark

bandicam : idk when it was recording the GAME lagged so i couldnt play...

You need to produce the file using something like Camtasia Studio or Sony veagas
This will compress it but sometimes reduces quality but not too much to make unwatchable
I recorded a file in FRAPs and it was 4gb
Used camtasia and compressed it to 34mb
Camtasia Trial can be gotten on CNet trial
Ill PM the Key if you want

The Best i use is fraps but you need to buy it to get the full version or theres a cheat and last i use camstudio and hypercam 3.hypercam3 lags a little

ye got it sorted. i use fraps(full version) pretty good :/

i use fraps for Minecraft, but i use bandicam for Skyrim as it was a bit long, so experiment a bit to see what suits what

I tend to use camtasia recorder from the camtasia studio package, but it makes nzp a bit laggy but i can release videos in 1080p HD
