He probably has but you can just look up things these days or Shadow can tell him how when he gets too.

you can use the Sculpting tool to smooth things out, i learn this from a tutorial

the Sculpting tool is like the Edit Object and Object Mode

All you need to do for that is create 2 cubes (there should be one made already) and re size them and place them until they look like an "L".
