I wonder if there is any entity or settings within VHE or WC to put rain on maps.

To my knowledge, no there isn't. Had the devs released the source for NZP, there would because rain and snow and everything can easily be added in.

yes, it is possible to add rain/snow and stuff to nzp but you need the sources...
But i dont think we weill ever see that, because i tested it in vanilla quake, and it starts
lagging like hell...

That exist on HL Based engine, not on quake i think, we need to wait to get that from NZP Dev team
