16GB is overkill for gaming, even 4 is enough, 8 is the hot spot, most games won't use more than 4. For a Minecraft server, even 3GB is enough, I have a 2GB Server running and about 15 people can join it and it doesn't lag.

And that's laptop ram btw. And it's Dual Channel, not Dual Core. And that's not the cheapest, I see 16GB on ebay for less and still better than that...

And never buy cheap PC stuff, I had a 600Watt PSU bust on me because it was only €40 , lucky it didn't take all my stuff with it.

Umm This is meant for laptop. I just plopped this onto my old one now.
