Once you make the texture you have to make it a .wad by using texmex. Then to make it a .hlwad put the .wad file in the textures folder that is in the worldcraft folder. Then there is a CMD app in there called all wassup to hlwads. Use that and it turns the Asda into hlwads. Now go into worldcraft go to tool then options then look for the textures tab and click add. Go to the textures folder in the worldcraft folder and find your hlwad. Click it and press ok. Then at the bottom press apply then ok. Now your texture should show up

OK so just follow my tutorial here WinkeyWink
OK first you need texmex DownloadHere
So once you have it up and running create a new wad and locate your texture
Then click the import button
how do i make a stmp to convert textures to hlwad? Texmex403
Then make sure the file type is at All Files so you can find it without confusion :S like this
how do i make a stmp to convert textures to hlwad? 5303
Then locate the texture VeryHappy
Now once you import it you need to resize it like this
So right click on it and click resize like so
how do i make a stmp to convert textures to hlwad? 5303-1
Here are some Guide lines for different sizes depending on what the texture is to appear as VeryHappy
The sizes with a < is the size I would reccomend
Doors
32x64
64x128<
128x256

Walls & floors
32x32
64x64
128x128<
256x256

Crates and Containers
64x64
128x64

Other things like posters would usually be sized on whether they are portrait or landscape
Then once you finish save the wad to most likely C:\ProgramFiles\Worldcraft\textures
Then the Wad to HLwad converter will open and convert it when you open WC(I am not using QuakeAdapter so I have no need to convert)
Then open the options menu like so
how do i make a stmp to convert textures to hlwad? Wc4929
Then click the textures tab and click "Add WAD" and locate your wad file :yay:
how do i make a stmp to convert textures to hlwad? Wc4929-1
Then click "Apply" and then exit the options
Then apply it to a block like you would usually do and see what it looks like in game
Any problems just tell me 😉
