Hey everyone, for those not following up on discord, I am back.

I have begun working on porting nzp to PC and from there android, mac, Linux etc. Progress is going well but I don't have any dates yet to give.

After I have laid out a good solid framework where to work with, I'll also update the PSP version. I'll try to make it so the code is shared as much as possible between the engines. But I don't have a working PSP so I can't verify it actually works on a real PSP.

PC and android versions will have proper mp support, PSP won't.

It will be based on NZ:P demo with also unofficial patch stuff potentially added in.

You can follow progress in moddb and discord.

I have also set up a public github repository where you can get the latest WIP builds as the progress goes, if you have coding experience you may also set up pull requests which I can take a look at and report issues.

This will be just a brief note, more extensive update post later.

I am glad to see that this is back, I had actually been watching this for a while but seeing as I own a PS Vita and not a PSP, I couldn't really play the newer versions, I'm actually going to take a look at what programming language is being utilised for this to see if I can help in anyway, if I am correct a lot of it is similar to ACS or might even be ACS, I am not too sure in that regard.

It is written in QuakeC, a variation of C. I'm fairly certain the team doesn't want to expand anymore because they're comfortable with the current team. However, you could join my team if you have experience.

When I press the .exe, there is only a join server option. I don't know how to play solo or set up a server (though forgive me if i'm being a noob).

For just LAN, compile ONE version of the game and make a copy so all progs are the same. Put that copy on another machine on your network. Launch a single player game. Pause. Have the second person launch their game and, using the console, type "connect xxxxxx" where xxxxxx is your ipv4 address. This may take a few tries.

If you want to do it through hamachi then you can, just make sure that you both can ping each other.

Don't revive old threads but I'm not closing this one.
